I have a spitfire!

I made a Spitfire mark V. I made it last night.... the glue is quite deadly though, smells nice, yet bad for you if you smell the fumes to much.

My new diary

I just bought a new diary. I like to arrange stuff so I have decided to keep track of the things I plan. It's got this red velvety material on the cover, and the year on the front is in a nice silvery thingie....

Poems hot off the Abi press

Oh Dear.

I hear a crash a bang and a wallop
And don't think to have a look
Then a further crash tinkle tinkle
And at last I close my book

I hear an "OUCH!" coming from the kitchen
As I walk down the stair,
And stop in pain because I remember
That my ankle is worse for wear

I hear a "Don't come in!"
As I get to the door,
Then I open it and look inside
To see my brother on the floor

There was glass all around
And pans of the tiles
And bruises all over my brother,
And absolutely no smiles.

Soluble and Insoluble substances

Experiment 1: What substances dissolve in water?

Copper Sulphate (CuSO4)
Sodium Chloride (NaCl) (Salt)
Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3)
Sugar (CnH2nOn)
Course ground Pepper
Test tubes

First we put 1/4 measure of Copper Sulphate into a test tube and added 2cm of water. Then we shook the test tube gently, and left it in the test tube rack. We did the same with the others, and a few minutes later we had a look at them. Here are the results:

Name of Chemical Did it dissolve?

Copper Sulphate Yes

Sodium Chloride Yes

Calcium Carbonate No

Sugar Yes

Course ground Pepper No

Observations
When the Copper Sulphate dissolved, it turned the water slightly blue.

When we shook the Calcium Carbonate, it looked like it dissolved, but a few minutes later, when we looked at them again, we saw that it had settled at the bottom of the test tube.

I may write more stuff that I do for work on my blog, so keep a lookout.

Hmmmm

Sometimes, I wonder why I have a blog, because I never know what to write....I KNOW!!! A POEM!!! I LIKE POETRY!!!

A little confused

Some say it's simple
Some say it's hard
Some say it's Pointless
Some say it's baaad* *Sheep sayng bad.
I think I could help 'em out
If they'd tell me what it's about.

They say it's boring
They say it's fun
They say something something moon
and something something sun,
But none of it is helping me,
to understand
